For too long, I have made you my happiness
For far too long, I have adored and appreciated your struggles
I have always considered you my own
The more I come closer, the more you treat me like an outsider
Why can I not belong to you, the way you belong to me?
The way I see beauty in you, why can’t you just feel my love?
